Ringsted Museum and Archives
Ringsted Museum and Archives is located adjacent to Ringsted Windmill, which is still operational and open to the public. The museum features exhibits covering Ringsted’s local town history as well as the area’s agricultural and industrial history. The archives contain an extensive local historical collection.
Informational materials: A brochure on Ringsted Windmill is available in English. Foreign language materials on the museum are not yet available.
Parking: Free public and paid parking are available on Køgevej, approx. 100 m east of the museum.
Food /drink: Coffee, cake and ice cream can be purchased at the museum. Packed lunches can be enjoyed in the café or outdoors.
Museum shop: Toys, postcards, books of local historical interest (in Danish), candy and ice cream, jewelry, handicrafts. Flour from Ringsted Windmill.
